The vacuum deposition method is characterized by the fact that the vaporized material reaches the target object directly, resulting in minimal damage to the object and the formation of a highly pure film. In particular, by layering our technology, PPX and SiO2, we achieve performance that is 400 to 1000 times better than conventional PPX single-layer films. ◆ Chemical Resistance This PPX coating has high chemical stability and is very resistant to basic acids and alkalis. If you are considering use near chemicals, testing with our films may be very effective. ◆ Heat Resistance and Insulation Depending on the type of film, PPX coatings can have heat resistance up to about 350°C. Insulation properties vary with film thickness, affecting breakdown voltage. We select the type of film based on the application and make recommendations to our customers. We would like to introduce a case where the adhesion of adhesive from packaging film to cutter blades was prevented. ■Concern In a certain packaging process, during actual production, packaging film with adhesive would stick to the cutter blades, causing cutting issues and misalignment, which frequently led to line stoppages. As a result, we were unable to achieve the production quantities calculated from the takt time. ■Effect of Coating We adopted our product "MRS-003." This allowed us to keep the processing temperature below 250°C, eliminating concerns about blade blunting. [Coating Example] TiN Film Coating on Silicon Wafer Substrate

We would like to introduce a case that can withstand Al sputtering and anodization, and meets the specifications.

We received an inquiry from Tokyo Metropolitan University in Hachioji City regarding their desire to sputter aluminum onto silicon wafer substrates and perform anodic oxidation treatment. They are struggling because the adhesion and characteristics do not meet the required standards. They would like to confirm what changes occur by depositing a TiN film as the initial layer, but since this is a prototype-only project, other companies have declined, and they are having difficulty finding a company that can perform the deposition. It was mentioned that research on thin film electrode layers is being conducted at the university. In cases where a TiN film coating is applied to silicon wafer substrates, there are often instances where it peels off during tape tests, indicating a significant problem with adhesion.
